Greetings Rasco Rings customers,
Rasco Rings has been sold to Evans Manufacturing Company! This is an exciting move for both parties. This is a great move for Rasco’s customer base, as we share the same philosophy about customer service, quality, and treating our customers right. Also, making wire parts for the fishing industry, as well as others, is something that we believe we do well. We have full in-house tool and die capabilities with modern CNC machining equipment to support this product line.
Evans is a family owned and operated company that has been in existence since 1916, having been started in downtown Seattle. Evans has changed hands several times over the years, with the current owners being Rodney and Mary Long. They have owned the business since 2003.
Interestingly, Rasco Rings Inc. and Evans Manufacturing Company used to be the same company. Evans sold the split ring product line many years ago to the Smith brothers creating Rasco Rings Inc. in the process. We believe that by adding Rasco’s product line to ours, we are going to be able to use our experience and skills to continue to make quality split rings and take the product line to the next level in terms of quality, consistency, and customer service.
During this time of transition, we will be working closely with Dail and Travis to make sure the baton is passed on successfully. As we transition, we would love to connect with you to introduce ourselves and get to know you and find out how we can continue to take care of you just as Dail, Travis, and Mike have been doing for so many years now.
