At Evans Manufacturing, we understand the need for parts to offer full customization in all aspects, from coatings to mounting hardware to laser engraving. We offer in-house capacitor discharge stud welding among our many sheet metal fabrication services. At Evans Manufacturing, we can fix studs to any sheet metal surface on your fabricated parts without waiting to send the job out.
What Is Stud Welding?
Stud welding is the process of affixing stud attachments to sheet metal parts using resistance welding with a capacitor discharge stud gun. By pressing the stud to the metal and forcing a current through the point of contact, the metal stud and sheet metal superheat and fuse together, creating a permanent stud.
